David May Preview : Bolton Wanderers

Usually when any team played against Bolton over the years the main man was always Kevin Davies – well it shows how times have changed because he doesn’t seem to be getting a regular start these days.

I am not sure if it’s a coincidence but without him in the team the Trotters are fighting a relegation battle. If I was their manager I might just go back to basics and play long ball again with Davies and Klasnic, they are a handful for any defence.

It might not be pretty but if it gets a few points on the board and saves them from dropping into the Championship, I don’t think you will hear anyone complaining at the Reebok!

Danger man: David N’Gog

I am not sure if David N’Gog really deserves the tag of danger man but I saw him play really well against Everton recently and it has slightly changed my opinion of him. It was difficult for him to shine when he was at Anfield, he was never the main man, didn’t seem to have the complete faith of the manager or his team mates and couldn’t get a run in the side. But maybe at Bolton he will get a proper chance to show what he can do, he seemed to bully the well organised Everton defence causing them all sorts of problems and scoring a really good goal. I am not saying he’s going to be the next big thing but he might just help the Trotters avoid the drop!

Score Prediction : United are gonna win 3-0 against Bolton – Welbeck’s on fire so I can see him grabbing a couple!!!!
