Ivan Perisic is being monitored by Jose Mourinho as part of a summer splurge that will see the Old Trafford outfit build on what has been a successful season so far. The 28-year-old has played well for Italian giants, Inter Milan this season, and could be sold by the 18-time Italian champions who are looking to adhere to Financial Fair Play regulations.

Italian media outlet, TuttomercatoWeb reported that Perisic could be offered a bumper deal to switch from Milan to Manchester.

Dailystar believes that a four-year deal in the region of £120,000k-a-week deal, which will see him double his wages, is on the cards.

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho was spotted in Croatia earlier in the campaign, reportedly on a scouting mission on Ivan Perisic.

Chelsea is also reportedly interested in a move for the player, but Inter’s £30m valuation of the player is likely to rebuff the advances of Antonio Conte’s men.

Jose Mourinho wants a wide player, capable of delivering goals and assists in reckless abandon. Inter Milan are currently seventh in the Serie A and will not qualify for European competition, meaning they may need to sell some of their players to balance their books.

Perisic is a player capable of playing on either flank in the attack. Extremely fast, he is also known for his aerial presence, and known for excellent deliveries with his wicked left foot. He has scored 10 goals and 10 assists in 41 appearances this season.
