‘Please sign him Jose!’ – Man United fans react as Fabinho drops huge transfer hint

By Dave Marshall

Long-term Manchester United target, Fabinho dropped a huge transfer hint on Tuesday after he stormed out of Monaco’s training session, earning comparisons with former Barcelona man, Neymar who did the same prior to making a world record £198m move to PSG.

It would seem that the 23-year-old defensive midfielder could use his compatriot as an example as pictures emerged of him storming out of the Ligue 1 champions’ beautiful La Turbie mountains, the club’s training ground. It is believed the versatile player had a bust up with teenage sensation, Kylian Mbappe who himself had been linked to European champions, Real Madrid.

Manchester United have long been linked to the player, as Jose Mourinho is a big admirer of his qualities as he feels he will add steel to his side, despite the signing of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea.

Fabinho, 23 is also a capable right back, famed for his passionate displays and this latest episode in his Monaco career could be the beginning of the end. The principality club have lost the likes of Benjamin Mendy, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Bernardo Silva already this summer, while Lemar and Mbappe are also reportedly close to an exit from the Stade Louis II.

Fabinho was pictured tearing his bib, and with Leonardo Jardim being a no-nonsense disciplinarian, he could be set for a move away.

Monaco won Ligue 1 last season, playing an almost unparalleled brand of attacking football, which ensured they also reached the Champions League semi-finals, with Fabinho and Bakayoko particularly excellent in the middle of the park.

Manchester United fans have reacted on Twitter about the training ground bust up as a sign that he could be set for a move to Old Trafford. Monaco have rejected a rumoured £36m bid from Atletico Madrid, as the club hold out for around £40m. Below are some of the best reactions about the bust up.

Fabinho is a classy defensive midfielder known for his calmness in possession, tough tackling and ability to cut out opposition plays. He registered 12 goals from defensive midfield last season.

Comment…well I don’t really understand why Jose will chose a player that is not capable of pushing ball forward, just look at the way he was busy running around the pitch doing nothing in the game even Pogba is not in the game at all busy playing selfish game throughout and that make us to loss the game. Jose need to do something quickly b4 he will blame himself for wrong selection…
