Heskey became Liverpool’s record signing when he joined the club for £11 million in 2000, and went on to make over 200 appearances for the club. In 2001 he was part of the FA Cup and UEFA Cup winning sides.

AskFans is a brand-new site and web series launched to bring fans of all Premier League sides and beyond together on one platform to voice their views.

The web series hosted by comedian Maff Brown features interviews with various legends of the Premier League with the likes of Emile Heskey and Nigel Winterburn having already featured.

The site showcases weekly previews and round-ups of all the Premier League games written by the die-hard fans of the clubs themselves. With two takes offered for every game, the content has a distinct feel as the passion of the writers – for the teams they follow – shines through.

AskFans TV sat down with Emile Heskey to get the former England and Liverpool striker’s opinion on the modern game, plus some great anecdotes from his time as a player.
