Chelsea : David May Preview

The Champions League is back and it was probably not the draw everybody wanted but there are a few positives to come out of it. We know how Chelski play; we have played them so many times before that Drogba, Anelka, Lampard and even Torres are nothing out of the ordinary. Ok we have had no luck against them over recent years but that was in the league, in Europe we should get a better standard of referee. Who can forget the offside against Drogba or the soft fouls awarded that ended up in crucial goals at Stamford Bridge. At least we don’t have to play Barcelona or Real Madrid at this stage, that should be left for a mouth watering final. Good luck to Spurs by the way because I think they are going to need it!!!

I am expecting an extremely cagey game at the Bridge, maybe one goal in it either way. I wouldn’t even be too disappointed if we lost 2-1 or 3-2. We have a great record at the Theatre of Dreams so as long as we are within a goal I think we could turn most situations around. The Gaffer set up with Wazza and Chicharito last time we went there but I can see Park coming in for the Little Pea. We have really missed his energy and determination of the last few months, it is great to have him back and he also has a decent record of performing in the big games. The rest of the team should be pretty straight forward and I am expecting a nail biting night!!! COME ON UNITED!!!!!!!!

Prediction : I think it might end 1-1. Then we can finish them off at Old Trafford!
