COMPETITION : Win 2 tickets to United Nights

COMPETITION : Win 2 tickets to United Nights

To celebrate the arrival of former United players writing for 7Cantonas, we’re happy to say David May has given us two tickets to give away for the next United Nights event on Friday, February 11th (the night before the City game).

7Cantonas.com is proud to be associated with the event and can say from first hand experience that it’s a brilliant night out.

For just £20 a head you get the opportunity to mingle with ex-players, have a beer with them and enjoy money off at the bar. Pete Boyle leads the songs and fires the questions to our former heroes, while there are raffles to win great prizes. United Nights will be held at Walkabout just off Deansgate in Manchester.

Confirmed in attendance – so far – for the event in February are David himself and Frank Stapleton. Frank was at United in the mid 80s and won two FA Cups, scoring in the final against Brighton in 1983. There will be more guests to be confirmed.

We’re going to give the tickets away as a pair and will announce the winner of the competition on Friday, when either David or Kevin Pilkington will pick someone at random.

To enter just leave a comment to this article with the answer to the following question.

Q : At which venue in January 1995 did Maysie score in a game made infamous for the behaviour of Eric Cantona?

The competition marks the start of our build up to the Manchester derby. Be sure to check the blog this week for a few articles on the game.

David May scored against Crystal Palace in the 56minute. The game was the infamous Eric Cantona game. Gareth Southgate equalised in the 80th minute.
The attendance was 18,223+1 (which was me) so 18,224
