I don’t think I can remember any other time in a season when we have had so many big teams this close together (apart from in finals). In the last few weeks we have played City, Arsenal, Chelsea and it will be Liverpool twice! It has been incredible.
For the Gaffer this is still his biggest game, I know City have all the money and are fighting us up at the top of the League but when he came over from Scotland his one goal was to knock the Scousers off their perch and he has certainly done that. I don’t always think we perform at our best in these early kick off’s but I understand why they have to be done and I suppose it does leave more time for celebrating in the afternoon!
It’s a pretty obvious thing to say but this is not going to be an easy game. Gerrard has come back for them in recent weeks, Bellamy is on fire, Carroll is a handful in the air and Suarez comes across as a poor man’s Tevez. (Which is still a handful) Dalglish has also tightened them up at the back, I can see them trying to hit us on the counter attack and knick a winner like they did a few weeks ago. Hopefully we will have learned from our mistakes and put our chances away when they come up. We dominated the FA Cup game but just didn’t have that little bit of luck you need when the big games come around. I think it will be a very different story this time around and team with 19 Titles will come out on top!!!!!!
Just a quick reminder: United Nights is tonight at the Walkabout in Manchester, Kick off is 7pm. The three Legends we have attending are Mickey Thomas, Lou Macari and a man making his United Nights debut, the one and only Sammy Mcllroy!!!!! There will be a fantastic Manchester band playing, a charity auction with a signed Berbatov shirt and another shirt signed by the whole squad. We are trying to make as much money as we can for the Manchester United Foundation so it would be great if everyone coming could have a cheeky bid! Also there’s the usual free raffle for everyone and loads more going on!

Danger man: Craig Bellamy
They do have a few good players in their side but I have gone for the man in form. Bellamy is the ultimate pest, never gives you a second to look around or make the pass. He knows exactly how to get under the players skin and force a mistake. It’s funny because although he’s probably known more for being annoying he does have an incredible burst of pace, good quality and a very decent finish. Craig has scored a few goals against us over the years and we will have to be on our toes at the back to keep him quiet.
Prediction : United are gonna win 4-2 against Liverpool with the Ginger Prince scoring the last goal!!!!!
I don’t go for the scouser to score,we have many players that missed out during the cup clashed and are now back in the squard the scouse will have a top time today. And the boo boys shall be ready to take vengeance on what the kop did to our captain at anfield. GGMU.
