David May : Blackpool Review

David May previews the Blackpool game which will see Manchester United crowned champions for the 19th time.

I can’t believe it’s the last home game of the season already; it seems to have flown by!!!

And what a season it has been. Ups, downs, crazy and magical moments, I would have to say my highlights of the season have been Berba’s Hat-trick against the Scousers, Wazza doing that incredible overhead kick at such an important and crucial time of the season against City, stuffing Chelski in the Champions League and just the whole squad stepping up to the plate when it really mattered most.

But of course it ain’t over yet….first of all we have to pick up that 19th Title on Sunday, it means so much to the fans, players, staff and Gaffer. I am so happy and proud to say I was a little part of the success on the way to reaching that all important number 19.

And then onto a little thing called the CHAMIONS LEAGUE FINAL!!!! Against apparently the best team to have ever played the game, well that’s defiantly arguable in my opinion.

All teams can be beaten, ok they are an outstanding side with incredible talents and they do have the world’s best player in Messi but so what!!! It’s a squad game these days, the best teams and players don’t always win, things go wrong, there are crazy decisions in the game and that’s why we all love and watch football. People have slagged us off all season and we have won the league!!! So let them say we can’t win, what I do know is the Gaffer and all his players will be trying their best and you just never know….. A screamer from Wazza, a poacher’s goal from the Little Pea, a perfect cross from Giggsy, these things do happen. We just have to BELIEVE!!!!!!!

By the way I do hope Blackpool stay up because they have been a credit to the league, I like Ian Holloway, how he lets his team play and express themselves is just fantastic to watch.

Prediction : Nani to score all 4 in a 4-0 win!
