Before the preview : The next United Nights event is on Saturday 5th May, before the last home game of the season against Swansea, it might even be the day we lift our 20th Premier League Trophy! The first guest confirmed is the one and only Gary Pallister – winner of numerous trophies at United in the 1990s.
You can buy tickets for the night on the official United Nights webpage.
Onto the game against Villa – and by this stage of the season you would have thought they might be comfortable in mid-table however they can’t relax because the way this season has gone they might still get dragged into the relegation zone.
There season didn’t get off to a flyer, none of the fans wanted McLeish and they sold their best players. Not exactly the recipe for success and I can only see it getting worse for them this weekend. Our result and performance against Wigan obviously was not good enough, they played well but we set our standards a lot higher than that. I know a lot of the fans were upset the Ginger Prince didn’t play but he is 37 years old. I think resting him was the right decision, just think if he had pulled his groin or something and missed the last few games. Hopefully we will have him fresh and firing for the final five fixtures!!!
(That’s a lot of F words) COME ON UNITED!
Danger man: Gabriel Agbonlahor
On his day this boy can play!!! The song the Villa fans sing about him is true, he is as fast as f*uck!!!! He has caused us problems in the past (remember the Carling Cup Final) and if he was a little more consistent I thought he might have got a move to a current top six side. He has been there since he was a kid so maybe a fresh start would be a good idea, reignite his career, not sure the Villa fans would enjoy that though.
Score prediction : United are going to win 2-1, Nani back with a goal!
