David May Preview : City FA Cup Semi-Final

I just want to start by saying how proud I was of the lads and their performance against Chelsea over both legs. We played fantastic football, looked the better side and had the better players. Park, Giggsy, Wazza, were all outstanding, to be honest I could name the whole team!!! Now bring on the Germans, it’s not going to be easy but if we are all honest it is the draw most United fans would have picked. There is no pressure on them, they are apparently playing decent football and Raul has found his form but I think we will get a score draw over there and then beat them at Old Trafford. The second leg at home might be the key to this game because as everyone knows we have the best fans in the world and European nights at the Theatre of Dreams are very special!!!

Onto the City game, what a day it is going to be. Ok going down to London is a joke and with Wazza and Tevez missing the game lacks two of the biggest names in the Premier League but still this is going to be one of the highlights of the season!!! This game is massive for the players, the staff and most importantly the fans. The Gaffer has seen and done it all before so I am not worried about the side he picks or the preparation but I also know that this means everything to City. Don’t be fooled  by their terrible performance against the Scousers, for some reason Mancini left out a few of his best players like Silva and De Jong. He must have been resting them because all the City fans I know have been saying how great they have been. I can see it being a tight and tense game, with either a mistake or a piece of magic winning it. For some reason I have a little feeling Berba or Nani might just provide the magic we need. COME ON UNITED!!!!

DANGER MAN: Mario Balotelli

The reason I have put Mario as the danger man for this match is because I never know what to expect from him. I’ve only seen him play a few times, one week he will lash in a screamer from outside the area and the other he will get sent off for a stupid challenge. He must be a nightmare to manage but the boy obviously has a lot of potential and talent. The problem is Mancini knows him better than anyone else and he still struggles to keep him focused, Mourinho said he is unmanageable, I am not sure about that but he will either win City the game or lose it for them. Fingers crossed he has another off day!!!

I would just like to say the next United Night I am organising is on Sat 7th May, that is the day before we play Chelski in the League. It is a Norman Whiteside Special, it is also his birthday!!!!!

Oh and BIG thank you to all of the fans that came along to the last United Nights. Everybody had a really good time and the most important thing was we made some money for Christies Cancer.
It really does help to make a difference to people’s lives.

Keep the Red Flag Flying!!!

Prediction : We are going to win 2-0, Berba first goal!!!!
