David May Preview: Sunderland

Can Sparky do us a favour??? He got treated with no respect at City after doing a terrific job and QPR still need a point to survive so even though it looks like a long shot you just never know.

This is the Premier League, no teams roll over and upsets do happen. We have to make sure we do our own job first, because playing at the Stadium of Light is never easy and the last thing we want is for City to slip up and we don’t take advantage. If everything does go wrong we should still be proud of the squad, the staff and the best manager in the world.

With the money City have spent they should have run away with the League and yet we have taken it to the last game, it’s been an incredible effort and there isn’t another team in the League that has even come close.

Keep the faith!

Danger man: James McClean

When a new manager comes in it usually gives the whole squad a lift, they get a chance to prove themselves again and start with a clean slate. Well this certainly happened with young James McClean. I had never even heard of him before Martin O’Neil came in. That’s not to say Brucey wasn’t watching his progress but during the second half of the season he has been brilliant. Martin gets him to play like an old fashioned winger, he beats his man and whips the crosses in first time for Sessegnon and Bendtner. It’s not rocket science but more often than not it does the job. You also need the quality to pull it off and I can see him having a bright future ahead.

Prediction : United are gonna win 2-1 against Sunderland COME ON UNITED!!!!!!!!!!
