Good news: Manchester United handed boost in £35m pursuit of Ivan Perisic

Inter Milan are ready to give up on their hope of retaining the services of winger, Ivan Perisic, as the Nerazzurri look to sign a replacement for the 28-year old player. The news all summer at the San Siro has been talk of the Croatian international going to Manchester united, though both clubs have thus far failed to reach an agreement.

Calciomercato (via Daily Star) reports that Luciano Spaletti, the Inter coach is looking at life after the former Wolfsburg man, as they mull over a move for Senegalese winger, Keita Balde who currently plays for Lazio.

The Italian tactician, who swapped Roma for the 2010 Champions League winners after the end of last season was keen to see Perisic stay, but has now finally accepted that the player’s heart is no longer with the club, and will now sanction a move away from the club for him, as it makes no sense to keep an unhappy player.

Perisic has not hidden his intention to play for a bigger club, test himself in the best league and play against the best players in the world. The fee being mooted is around £44m, but United don’t want to pay more than £35m. However, this latest news suggest that a deal could be thrashed soon.

Keita Balde, the 22-year-old Lazio winger is seen as a perfect replacement for the winger, as his performances for Lazio earned the admiring glances of clubs around Europe after a fantastic season for the Rome team.

The Barcelona academy graduate has finally left his childhood immaturity, and attaining a new level of consistency that saw him plunder an impressive 16 league goals. The likes of AC Milan and Juventus are also looking at him, but both clubs currently look spoiled for options in that department after good summer recruitment.

Perisic scored 11 goals and made 9 assists in 41 matches for the 18-time Italian champions who flattered to deceive. He is a classy winger who is known for his pace, dribbling and crossing ability and will offer directness to United’s wing play.

Mata and Herrera are injured, their presence in the team against one of the football giants in the world could have proved our teams’ merits. Nevertheless, football is football, let lukaku and Rashford , and in form martial prove why our club is known as red devils. No worries, not at all man fans we have got enough players to contain the likes of Neymar, Messi and once a premier Liverpool hero Suarez. it’s just a friendly game but a revelation of coming highly prized competitions like EPL and UCL games. Coming back to transfer trends, we really need perisic and recent trending transfer rumour Bale skilled wingers and either two or all out of Verratti, Matic, Sanches to concrete our glorious Manchester united team.
