After seeing highly-rated Benfica defender, Victor Lindelof join Manchester United earlier this week, it would seem that manager, Jose Mourinho is preparing another onslaught on the club.
The Red Devils are reportedly keen on signing versatile attacker, Anderson Talisca, who himself has claimed that Jose Mourinho is a huge admirer of his abilities. The Sun once reported that Manchester United could make a move for the player, who has just completed the first year of his 2-year loan deal at Turkish giants, Besiktas.
Manchester United were linked to the youngster last summer, but couldn’t finalise on a move, but it seems that Talisca himself is keen on a move to Old Trafford. As translated by Dailyexpress, he was quoted as saying: “I can’t talk about Manchester United. It’s not just up to me.
“I’ve had a good season, and Mourinho has a love [for me] that exists, I will not lie.
“It’s a dream, something that all players want. As I said, his love is old and I like his work. He’s a great coach and I hope everything works out,” he told Globosporte.
With Manchester United looking to compete on four fronts next season, Jose knows that a depth in his squad could help his team as we aim to make next season even more successful than the recently concluded one.
Talisca is a versatile forward player who can play on both flanks and also behind the striker. He is known for his pace, dribbling ability and finishing and has been likened to former Red Devils star, Nani. He scored 16 goals and created six assists in 32 matches last season.
