Zlatan Ibrahimovic is to sign for Manchester United, the Swedish striker has confirmed.
There has been much speculation all summer about the former Paris St. Germain forward; after his contract expired with the French champions, he was able to negotiate a free transfer deal with other clubs, and he has decided to sign what is reportedly a one year deal at Old Trafford.
Ibrahimovic certainly fits the bill of the sort of high profile signing needed to provide a boost after a disappointing season and he said on his Instagram profile that his next destination is Manchester United, posting a picture of the club’s crest.
He tweeted ‘Time to let the world know’ and the tweet has already been retweeted over 40,000 times.
