Jose Mourinho is already setting his sight on the coming summer transfer market as he looks to bolster his squad with quality players.
Reports making the rounds claims Mourimho is keeping tabs on Romelu Lukaku and Andrea Belotti as possible replacement for Swede international Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Ibrahimovic, 35, is the only established and reliable striker at Old Trafford, his contract is billed to expire at the end of this season and there is no telling if the goal poacher will put pen to paper to sign a contract extension.
Romelu Lukaku was not favoured by Mourinho during his time at Stamford Bridge. However, the Belgian is currently enjoying his best form in the Premier League – he leads the goal scoring chat of the League with 23 goals and has revealed that he is in the want of a move away from Goodison Park.
Meanwhile, Belotti has taken the Seria A by storm this term. Despite playing for Torino, Belotti has scored 24 League goals in 28 matches, proving his critiques wrong. He is wanted by several top clubs and it will take a whopping sum to buy him from Torino.
Despite spending heavily in the last transfer window, Manchester United are yet struggling in the League. They currently occupy fifth spot on the Premier League log, Champions League qualification would be a major attraction for any player.
