Jose Mourinho delivers Man United transfer plans for next season

Despite thumping title favorite Chelsea 2-0 yesterday, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that his squad is short of quality players, this report is according to the Express.

Jose Mourinho was involved in a spending spree last summer that saw him spent in excess of 150million Pounds on Paul Pogba, Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. But his recent submission means he’ll be heavily involved in the signing of players next summer.

Although, Chelsea have been playing better than Manchester United in the League this season, United were able to dominate them yesterday from start to finish. Marcus Rashord put United ahead in the first half before Ander Herrera doubled their lead in the second half.

Mourinho had revealed that his tactics against the Blues was deliberate and he was certain of beating them. However, he spoke after the game and admitted that he is short of quality in his squad.

“I think we need a little bit more quality and different qualities in some positions for next season to make the squad stronger but in terms of character and the human side of the group, I have one of the best groups ever,” Mourinho said.

Meanwhile, we have already been linked with a move for various star players including Antoine Griezmann, Jan Oblak and Alexis Sanchez. He will spend at the least 150million to be able to lure all of his targets next season.

Though, there are indications that some players will be sold too,  and so players sale will help recoup funds. Rooney, Carrick, Blind are on the exit lane of the club.
