Manchester United win over Chelsea has proven that Jose Mourinho is still tactically effectual, with the right quality in his side, the Red Devils will be able to compete for the title next season.
After the win against Chelsea, Mourinho admitted that his side is somewhat short of quality and he is expected to bolster his otherwise strong squad next summer. The latest player linked with a move to Old Trafford is Ousmane Dembele of Borrussia Dortmund, according to the Sun.
Wayne Rooney, Ashley Young and some Red Devils star have been linked with a move away from Man United and Mourinho is already looking for top-notch replacements. Dembele is one of the stars on the transfer radar of Manchester United.
Dembele, 19, joined the Signa Iduna Park landlords in the summer of 2016 from Rennes but despite his age and experience, he has had an impart for his team in the Bundesliga. In 27 League appearances, he has provided 10 assists and scored six goals.
The report claims, United will pay up to £50million to be able to lure Dembele to Old Trafford. Albeit the transfer market is heavily inflated, that amount will be too much for a teenager but Mourinho has the propensity to spend heavily.
Nonetheless, the top Premier League clubs have been linked with a move for the players but there is no telling if Dortmund would allow the highly prospective youngster to leave soon.
