Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado has admitted that he held talks with both Manchester United and Barcelona this summer.
“We had spoken with them [Manchester United and Barcelona] but the truth is that I’ve always remained calm,” he said.
“I’m happy to stay another season, I’m fine here.”
With interest in the player very high, and his international teammate Falcao now playing at Old Trafford, the belief is that Van Gaal will try to sign the player again either in January or next summer.
