We break down the key facts and things to know as Manchester United learned their Premier League fixture programme for the 2015/2016 season.
The Reds kick off the season at home due to building work at Manchester City and they will face Tottenham Hotspur on the weekend of 8th August. They close the season against on 15th May at home to Bournemouth
As usual, eyes are directed to when we play Liverpool and those dates are – 12th September at Old Trafford and 16th September at Anfield.
The remaining dates for the big fixtures :
Arsenal – 3rd October (A), 27th February (H)
Chelsea 28th December (H), 6th February (A)
Man City 24th October (H), 19th March (A)
United play in the Champions League Playoff Round – the draw takes place on 7th August, with the first leg to played on 18th or 19th and second leg on the 25th or 26th.
Should Louis van Gaal’s team qualify for the Champions League Group stage then their match days will be on 15-16th September, 29-30th September, 20-21st October, 3rd-4th November, 24-25th November and 8-9th December 2015. The games which follow each of the respective games are :
