News broke out yesterday that Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini is close to an exit from Manchester United as he has reportedly agreed personal terms with Turkish giants, Galatasaray.

The Big Belgian, who has divided attention since his big money move to United under the ill-fated David Moyes era, is a personal favourite of manager, Jose Mourinho, but knows that the impending arrival of Chelsea midfielder, Nemanja Matic will further push him down the pecking order. Ahead of a World Cup year, Fellaini knows that he needs regular playing time if he wants to make the star-studded Belgium squad for next year’s mundial in Russia.

Galatasaray sporting director, Cenk Ergun confirmed the club’s interest in signing Fellaini, and it is suggested that all that remains is the agreement of a transfer fee as personal terms have already been agreed.

Fellaini is highly regarded by Jose Mourinho, who stood by him following a difficult start to the season by the former Everton man. The frilly haired midfielder has never quite warmed himself to Manchester United fans, who view him as proof that the club declined under Scottish manager, David Moyes.

Below are some of the best reactions from the fans about his impending move to the Turkish Super Lig.

Fellaini is a physically imposing midfielder known for his combative displays, aerial threat and ability to wind up opposition players. He can also play as an attacking midfielder to help support the frontline. He made 42 appearances last season, averaging statistics of 1.9 tackles, 1.1 interceptions and 1.7 clearances per match.

Against all the odds, Fellanie has been great since the second half of last season. He is a Vierra at midfield and really energetic. Heg deserves. He should of course STAY
