We take a look at the shape of the team ahead of the game,
Team News
United were without quite a number of their players last night but a chunk of those stars are expected to return to action against Chelsea.
David De Gea played second fiddle to Sergio Romero in the Anderlecht game. He picked up a minor injury in preparation for United’s Premier League game against Sunderland. He is now back and is expected to start in-between the sticks for United.
Albeit they did not travel with the squad to Belgium, Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young partook in full training, which mean they are in contention for a starting spot for the game on Sunday. Meanwhile, United will yet be without Phil Jonesm Juan Mata and Chris Smalling who are on the recovery pane from various injuries.
However, Jose Mourinho has a large and strong squad that should be able to come-off the Chelsea game tops.
I believe this is the strongest possible line-up of United against Chelsea.
