Manchester United have been drawn against Ipswich Town at Old Trafford in the Third round of the League Cup.
United’s most recent encounter with Ipswich was in 2002. Their record Premier League win came against Ipswich in 1995.
The match will be played in the week commencing 21st September.
United’s most recent success in the competition came in the 2009/10 season. Last year, they were defeated 4-0 by MK Dons in the Second Round. Due to their involvement in European competition this year they play in the 3rd Round.
