Manchester United are reportedly closing in on a sensational move for Real Madrid forward, James Rodriguez. The 25-year-old Colombian has set his sights on swapping Madrid for Manchester this summer and is all but sure of leaving the consecutive Champions League winners. According to Diario Gol, a transfer agreement between United and Real Madrid is imminent, and that the deal could be wrapped up pretty soon.
This same report claims Red Devils manager, Jose Mourinho has identified the playmaker as one player that could elevate the team to the next level.
Despite struggling for gametime under Real boss, Zinedine Zidane, the Colombian No. 10 seems to have done enough to convince the Old Trafford hierarchy to be willing to spend big on his signature this summer. James shares the same agent with Mourinho, which is Jorge Mendes, meaning that the details of personal terms shouldn’t be a major worry.
Mourinho has grown frustrated in recent weeks about the club’s major inactivity so far in the transfer window as the club’s major arrival this summer has been Sweden international, Victor Lindelof. Another factor that could fast-track the James deal is that Wayne Rooney is closing in on a deal to return to Everton, which means that James’s favoured No. 10 jersey could become available.
James is a classy attacking midfielder that will offer creativity, finishing and elegance to United’s attacking midfield department and help Paul Pogba reach his very best form. Since moving to Santiago Bernabeu after a great World Cup in 2014, he has won the Champions League twice, La Liga and a host of other trophies.
Its very hard to agree on anything posted.First it was Morata now Lukaku????.Morata is classy.I have seen Lukaku fade in big games. He only scores against small teams.James will be another good addition but i think relation between United and Madrid is not good at the moment.
