Manchester United target, Ivan Perisic has teased the fans of the club if the latest picture trending on social media is anything to go by. The 28-year-old Croatian is keen to leave Inter Milan as his head has been turned by the prospect of playing for Jose Mourinho, and getting to win trophies his obvious talents deserve.

Red Devils manager, Jose Mourinho is keen to add firepower ahead of next season, as he expects his team to compete on all four fronts and views the former Wolfsburg man as a perfect addition to his team.

Inter Milan transfer chief, Piero Ausilio has stated categorically that he is not for sale while manager, Luciano Spaletti wants him to stay at the San Siro as they look to topple Juventus from the top of Italian football.

In a picture that has since gone viral on social media, Inter Milan striker, Gabriel Barbosa shared a team photograph and it was awkward in the sense that Perisic distanced himself from his teammates, that all but confirmed that he is no longer happy with life in Milan, and wants out as soon as possible.

Social media went agog as fans commented that he did that so that his picture would be easy to crop out.

Manchester United and Inter have not reached an agreement over the transfer but it is believed that the 20-time English champions will increase their offer to around £45m, which is the Nerrazurri’s asking price.

Perisic was influential for the Serie A giants last season, despite their managerial merry-go-round, as he scored 11 goals and registered a further 13 assist in 43 matches, in what was a disastrous season for the 2010 Champions League winners.
