Anderson Talisca, reportedly a target for Jose Mourinho, has stated his desire to move to the Premier League.

The Brazilian, who currently plays for Turkish side, Besiktas on loan from Benfica is one of the most exciting players in Europe after two years in Turkey, scoring 37 goals in just 78 appearances.

Talisca is surprisingly quick for a player that is 6’3″, completing 43 successful dribbles this season, the second-most in the Super Lig (WhoScored), whilst also managing 35 key passes, with only four attacking midfielders managing more.

The 24-year-old’s dynamism and trickery has alerted Europe’s top sides to his ability and speaking recently, he told Turkish outlet, Milliyet saying, “I prefer the English league, I prefer it for the fans.

“In every game, a nice image is formed. Every match is the same support, I like this situation. “Yes, there is always interest but nothing is certain,” he added.

“There is no concrete situation yet. “At the moment this is just speculation. My mouth has not said: ‘Yes, the transfer is over.’ I am currently enjoying the holiday in Bahia.”

Mourinho is a big fan of the player having tried to sign him for Chelsea in 2014, denied only by work permit related complications. The Portuguese boss is on a mission to add major reinforcements to his squad in a bid to strengthen his side and make us true challengers for the league title next year.

This one signing will not be the only solution, because full-backs with attacking qualities as well as the expected addition of box-to-box midfielder Fred will also be required to liven up the team’s forward play. If Talisca joins though, he will add pace and directness which would make him a most welcome addition.
