Since the appointment of Jose Mourinho as the manager of Manchester United, there has been exodus of some players from Old Trafford.

Players like Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay are the latest players that failed to establish their Red Devil identity before they were sold. They will be joined by Germany legend Bastian Schweinsteiger as former Man United players as reports have indicated that the 32-year-old has been permitted to leave.

Schweinsteiger has endured an unimpressive stint with Man United since his move in the summer of 2015. Dutch tactician Luis Van Gaal saw the former Bavarian star as a solution to his midfield dilemma at that time but Mourinho does not believe the midfielder is needed at Old Trafford.

This term, Schweinsteiger has only managed four appearances for Man United  and three of those have come from the bench. He has now been offered an escaped route with BBC reporter Simon Stone making claims that he the player has been offered a visa to and he would be on his way to America and put pen to paper for Chicago Fire.

“Schweinsteiger has secured his visa and will travel to Chicago later today, arriving at around 18:30 local time, Stone said.

Man United will have no financial gain in the deal. His has a mutual agreement with the Old Trafford Landlords that have seen them terminate his contract.
