Manchester United new boys, Romelu Lukaku and Victor Lindelof were spotted working hard in training ahead of the club’s first pre-season game against LA Galaxy at the StubHub centre. The pair were getting to grips with the demands of their new manager, and also used the time to bond with their new teammates. They were spotted in high spirits in the club’s training session at UCLA, and could be set to make their unofficial debuts on Saturday against the LA side.

United kick off their first leg of their US against the Galaxy, and it is believed that Lukaku and Lindelof could be set to feature at some point in the match on Saturday. Lukaku was signed in a mammoth £75m deal from Everton last week while Lindelof was signed earlier in the summer from Benfica as the club’s most expensive defender.

The Lukaku coup has catapulted the 20-time English champions as favourites for the title next season as he is a seasoned Premier League campaigner and could score the goals we need to wrest the title from Chelsea.

Lindelof is a centre- back gathering reputation in Europe as top class, and is expected to form a mouth-watering partnership with Eric Bailly, who performed well in his first season in English football. Manager, Jose Mourinho is keen to lift the title after a disappointing sixth-placed finish last term, which was overshadowed by winning three trophies that included the Europa League, which in turn ensured we qualified for next season’s Champions League group stages.

Lukaku and Lindelof are already in the bag but the likes of Perisic and Matic are still expected to sign, making United a formidable squad going into next season.
