A photograph taken on the stadium tour today allegedly shows that Bastian Schweinsteiger has been given the number 31 shirt.
Marouane Fellaini previously wore the shirt in his two seasons at Old Trafford but Schweinsteiger has always worn that number for Bayern and it seems as if he may wear it for his new club.
As usual, shirt numbers are not expected to be confirmed until the day before the season.
