Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes has publicly hit back at Louis van Gaal after the manager said he had refused to play in reserve games last season.
Valdes took to Twitter to post an image depicting the three U21 games he played in as an overage player last season, against Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool, with the word ‘respect’ hash tagged.
The goalkeeper is set to leave United and this outburst is not likely to smooth relations.
