Real Madrid are prepping up for a mammoth £93m bid for Gareth Bale from Manchester United as the transfer market closes on Thursday. The 28-year-old Wales international is no longer an undisputed starter at the club and could find himself on the periphery when Cristiano Ronaldo returns from his 5-match suspension.
The former Tottenham man is wanted by Jose Mourinho to add stardust to his attack as he has grown frustrated with the pursuit of Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan and will now look to sign the wing wizard before Thursday’s deadline.
Spanish publication, Don Balon reports that United will make an offer for Bale, but it is believed that Real Madrid supremo, Florentino Perez will reject the offer as there is not enough time to find a replacement. It is believed the Real president would want to sign either Antonie Griezmann or Paul Dybala to replace the player.
Bale has struggled with injuries in the last two years and failed to start the Champions League final against Juventus, which Los Blancos won 4-1 to record a consecutive competition win.
Bale was booed by a cross section of the Real Madrid supporters at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, in which he failed to impress and was overshadowed by Spanish sensation, Marco Asensio, who scored both goals in a 2-2 draw with Marcelino’s men. United have been linked with him for the last two years and it is interesting to see whether he will make the move to Old Trafford. Manager, Zidane has remained supportive of the player and claims that he is still in his plans for this season.
However, here’s how Bale will look if he eventually Joins Man United:
Bale is a classy left footed winger adept at playing anywhere across the front three. He joined Madrid in the summer of 2013 for a then world record £86m and has helped the Spanish giants win a league title, three Champions League titles, 2 Copa del Reys and a host of other trophies. He will add quality to Manchester United that is looking to complete on all fronts this season.
Bale should return to England now as to old Trafford player .José has been crying for along for lucking a swift winger like Bale.
Bale is a good player, for me I think Sanchez will be a more better option
