There are increasing reports that the deal to take Alvaro Morata to Manchester United is getting closer and closer if the latest Instagram post by his wife Alice Campello happens to hold water. The 24-year-old Spanish international has been linked to a move to the United all summer and it now looks as though he is closer to a move.

Jose Mourinho is keen to reunite with the player he gave his debut back at Real Madrid in 2010 in a bid to replace talismanic striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic who enjoyed a fruitful first season at the Theatre of Dreams last season, but couldn’t get his contract renewed due to a nasty knee injury in April.

Campello and Morata got married recently and it was the wife that posted on popular picture sharing app, Instagram claiming that today is their last day on holiday in Ibiza. The newlyweds had been enjoying their honeymoon on the exotic island amid the uncertainty about Morata’s future.

The post threw the United fans into state of excitement, as many believe it is a signal that a move is on the cards, given that the player is not interested in staying with the Champions League holders. He really struggled for game time under Zinedine Zidane, who preferred compatriot, Karin Benzema.

United recently launched the new kits for 2017/18 season and we, the United faithfuls are already wetting our lips on how he will look like in our jersey.

Morata scored 20 times for Real Madrid last season after being signed back from Juventus. He is known for his finishing, movement and positioning and will offer am immediate improvement on United’s frontline, who often struggled for inspiration in key moments last season.
