Manchester United entertain Sevilla in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 at Old Trafford tonight. The game is finely poised as the first leg ended goalless at the Ramon Sanchez Pijuan a fortnight ago, but United’s victory over Liverpool has lifted the spirits at the Theatre of Dreams.

Paul Pogba is not expected to feature after missing training yesterday, and Mourinho may stay with the same players that defeated Liverpool. United are expected to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Champions League with a win over the Spanish outfit, and below are the 11 players that could do the job under the lights at the Old Trafford.

Goalkeeper

It has been reported that Sevilla fans have taken to social media to tell Spanish number 1, David De Gea to save his best form for Spain at the World Cup though the 27-year-old will be looking to continue his good form against his countrymen.

Defence

At the right hand of side, Antonio Valencia is expected to continue barring any last-minute injuries. In the heart of defence, Chris Smalling and Eric Bailly should play as the central defensive partnership. Both men played well against Liverpool on Saturday, and will be looking to keep a clean sheet against Vincenzo Montella’s men. At left back, Ashley Young will be looking to nullify the threat from the Sevilla right after putting Liverpool talisman, Mohammed Salah in his pocket over the weekend.

Midfield

With Paul Pogba not expected to feature in the game, young Scotsman, Scott McTominay should pair Serbian powerhouse, Nemanja Matic in the defensive midfield position. McTominay has impressed ever since he has been brought into the side. In attacking midfield, a trio of Mata, Rashford and Alexis Sanchez would be looking to cause havoc in the final third.

Rashford scored twice against Liverpool over the weekend, and will be hoping to maintain his starting berth. Sanchez has not hit the heights expected of him since he made the winter transfer move from Arsenal but he can kick start his United career with a wonderful performance against the Andalusians.

Attack

Romelu Lukaku will be looking to continue his impressive form and will lead the attack once again.
