Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez has sanctioned the sale of Gareth Bale to free up cash and space ahead of the imminent arrival of French sensation, Kylian Mbappe.
The 18-year-old striker is reportedly the subject of a world record £161m offer from Real Madrid but the European Champions want to free up cash after selling the likes of Danilo and Alvaro Morata for close to €100m (£90m). Mbappe arriving at the Bernabeu will most likely see one of Benzema or Bale leave the club, with Don Balon suggesting that Los Blancos have slapped a mammoth £90m price tag on interested parties for Bale.
Jose Mourinho is keen to do business after going frustrated with the pursuit of Inter Milan forward, Ivan Perisic. The 28-year-old completely destroyed Chelsea in a pre-season clash in Singapore on Saturday, and is keen on a move to Old Trafford, but with Bale being available for around £90m, United fans have been quick to make their assertion on who best fits the club.
Most fans feel that Bale will be a better option for the 20-time English champions given his Champions League pedigree and Premier League experience.

A wide player in the shape of Bale or Perisic would make for a great transfer window. Bale would be my choice personally but either will do.

I'd take him instead of Perisic. Same age, but Bale has the PL experience & that belter of a left foot

Bale lost his place towards the end of last season to Spanish maestro Isco after recovering from injuries and could only start the Champions League final victory over Juventus from the bench. The former Tottenham man is widely regarded as one of the best players in the world, boasting excellent attributes like devastating pace, free kick ability and fantastic finishing.
He joined Madrid in a then world record £89m from Tottenham back in 2013, and has since helped the Spanish giants win three Champions League titles, one La Liga Santander title and a solitary Copa del Rey.
