There was a Premier League fixture leak this evening which suggests that Manchester United will kick off their era under Jose Mourinho with a trip to Burnley.
His first home game – leaked here – https://www.docdroid.net/syClcJY/premier-league-fixture-list-2016-17.pdf.html – is apparently against West Brom, with a game at Watford scheduled a week later, to give the former Chelsea boss a gentle start to life at Old Trafford.
United will face champions Leicester on the weekend of 10th September (having already faced them in the Community Shield).
On the weekend of 19th November, Mourinho faces his old club Chelsea at Old Trafford.
United welcome Liverpool to Old Trafford on 3rd December and then City on the 17th – sandwiched in between is a trip to Arsenal. April looks to be just as difficult a month, as United play at Anfield on the 1st, City away on the 8th and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on the 29th.
The Boxing Day game is a home tie against Hull City while the season wraps up with a home game against Swansea.
