‘Rise Of The Underdog’, the autobiography of former Manchester United defender Danny Higginbotham, is now available to order.
Higginbotham – who came through the Old Trafford ranks in the 1990’s and achieved the distinction of becoming the eldest academy product of the club to receive an international cap when he was called up by Gibraltar – worked on his book with United author and RetroUnited.com founder Wayne Barton, and it is released by Trinity Mirror.

The book is making waves in the media at present after two interviews with Danny with the Independent and Manchester Evening News yesterday.
The Independent also serialised some of the standout extracts from the book today with Danny’s time with Roy Keane at Sunderland in the spotlight.
