Sanchez could face Burnley as Man United receive major boost in £35m pursuit

Manchester United could be set to sign Arsenal star, Alexis Sanchez in a £35m move in the coming days, as the drawbacks concerning the deal are being settled. The 29-year-old Chilean star has been rumoured to have agreed personal terms with the Red Devils, as he has reportedly agreed a £350k-a-week deal at Old Trafford.

Manchester Evening News reports that Arsenal are close to signing young Bordeaux winger, Malcom in a £45 million deal as the 20-year-old Brazilian player has been tipped to replace Sanchez.

The Gunners also want Henrikh Mkhitaryan as part of the Sanchez deal, but reports in the Daily Mail quoted the Armenian international’s agent, Mino Raiola as saying the player has the final say on a move to north London. It is believed the former Dortmund man will eventually join The Gunners, paving way for Sanchez to join our illustrious club. The player could be signed in time to face Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday, a game which we are looking to win to put more pressure on league leaders, Manchester City.

United take on Dean Dyche’s men on Sunday with Jose Mourinho hoping the Sanchez deal would have been finalised before then. He needs to be signed by 12pm on Friday if he is to be eligible to play against the league’s 7th placed team. With City pulling out of the deal to sign the player, we are clear favourites to sign him, and the deal could be wrapped up in a couple of days.

Sanchez would offer stardust to our attack, as his directness, pace, creativity and finishing are necessary to help our team challenge for the major honours.
