I’m no fan of Thatcher after she tried to close down anything outside the South East. But it’s a bit rich coming from Nottingham where they were the only miners outside the South east to scab. As for Hillsboro, anyone who watched football pre-Sky, knows that those same conditions existed for over a century. It took a crowd, resentful that their opponents had a bigger allocation at the opposite end, to crash the gates, fuelled as usual by a skinful and their characteristic entitlement to actually backfire on them after their Heysel heroics.
