Reports in Holland suggest that Manchester United have agreed a fee in the region of £14m plus add ons for Dutch international Daley Blind.
The versatile fan favourite, who can play at left back or as a defensive midfielder, will become the 5th signing of the summer and will once again link up with Van Gaal with whom he had great success for the national team.
A contract has already been agreed with Blind and confirmation of the transfer is expected in the next few days.
