In recent years, United have not had much joy at Stamford Bridge, although before Jose Mourinho’s first arrival, it used to be that the Reds would have the better in London while Chelsea invariably enjoyed good results at Old Trafford.
Back in 2012 it looked very much like Chelsea would enjoy another healthy victory at home against the Champions, until Sir Alex Ferguson masterminded a memorable comeback.
With United due to play at Champions-elect Chelsea today, here’s hoping that Louis Van Gaal can inspire this United team to put in a performance like they did in the second half of this 3-3 draw.
