It’s great to be back!!! Nobody enjoys International breaks at this stage of the campaign, the last couple of months are always exciting at both ends of the table and this year it might be the best end to a season since……..1999!!! That’s the last I am going to mention of that incredible year because I don’t want to jinx it!!!!
Onto the game against the Hammers, hopefully Vida will be back in defence. He played the full game for Serbia during the week so that’s a good sign. With Smalling, Evra, van der Sar and whichever right back the gaffer picks I am sure it will be enough to keep West Ham out, then players like Nani, Valencia and Wazza can do the damage going forward. I definitely don’t see a repeat of the Carling Cup score line. That was a disaster but as always the Gaffer used it to teach the younger lads that at United no game is ever easy, everybody wants to beat us and you have to earn everything you ever get at this great club. I would expect the same determination from Avram Grants’ boys again on Saturday, Upton Park is never an easy place to go and we have had mixed results there over the years.
Scott Parker has been getting a lot of praise from pundits recently; he has done well for England and in a relegation threatened side. I have always thought he was a decent player, the move to Chelsea never worked out but I don’t think that was his fault. Loads of players have gone to big clubs at just the wrong time, let’s hope that’s the same for Torres!!
I would just like to say a BIG thank you to all of the fans that came along to the last United Nights. Everybody had a really good time and the most important thing was we made some money for Christies Cancer. It really does help to make a difference to people’s lives.
Thanks to the best fans in the world. Keep the Red Flag Flying!!!
Score prediction : We are going to win 0-2. Nani first goal!!!
I’m not sure it’s going to be that straightforward. West Ham have turned the corner and are probably going to finish comfortably mid-table now.

I think we’ll do enough to win, but they’re a team on form and up for it. Every game from here to the end of the season is going to be the same.
